Quality Assurance
SYSTEM
Fourinox’s Quality Control System ensures certification or compliance to ASME Sect VIII Div. 1 (U & R), API, CE and CRN standards. Our system is independently audited and re-certified every three years by an Authorized Inspection Agency and the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to maintain the highest level of quality assurance available. Managed and supervised by a team including Certified Weld Inspectors, Level III NDE Inspectors and shop floor inspectors, our quality assurance program ensures adherence to the most stringent industry and customer specifications.
INSPECTION
Prior to release for fabrication, each project undergoes an audited design review. Based on the project design audit, a formal in-process traveler is compiled to include assigned checks, hold points and testing requirements to ensure quality assurance requirements are met through completion of the project. In addition to destructive weld testing, our in-process and final non-destructive testing capabilities include:
- Radiography Testing
- UT: Ultrasonic
- MT: Mag Particle
- LP: Dye Penetrant
- PMI: Positive Material Identification
- Helium Leak
- Vacuum Box
- Thermal Heat Documentation
- Surface Finish
- Borescope Visual
- Riboflavin Spray
- Metallurgical
- Hydrostatic
- Pneumatic
- Wet and Dry Film Thickness Testing
DOCUMENTATION
Each function and step in the quality assurance process is fully documented and compiled in a project archive to be provided as certification of the final product. The documentation package chronicles the project’s as-built drawings, design calculations, Fabrication Quality Plan, WPS/PQRs, QC Sign offs, material traceability, certificates of non-destructive examination and code certifications. This comprehensive final fabrication record is provided in hardcopy or electronically as requested.
